Newly hired members should wait 90 days before activating an account.
Before you begin, you’ll need your current service credit total (years worked). Note:You can call us if you don’t know.
- Click the Login button in the top-right corner of the website.
- Click on the Create Online Account link.
- Read and Agree to the Electronic Signature Agreement.
- Select the Member radio button and then click Next.
- Enter the pertinent information on the Create Your Account page and click Next.
- Enter the pertinent information on the Create Member Account Part 2 page and click Create. (Answer only 2 of the 3 questions)
- Congratulations! You have your account confirmation. Click on Click to Access Your Account.
- On the Secure Account Home Page select PERS or the other System account you want to view.
- On Your Account Information page select any activity and explore your account!
Retirees & Benefit Recipients
Before you begin, you will need to fill out an online form to obtain a Verification Code that will be provided to you by PERS. You will then need the amount of your total service credit (years worked) and the exact spelling of your name as listed on your PERS account. Have a check stub or direct deposit statement available for reference. Note: You can call us if you don’t know.

- Select the Member radio button and then click Next.
- Enter the pertinent information on the Create Your Account page and click Next.
- Enter the pertinent information on the Create Retiree Account Part 2 page and click Create. (Answer only 2 of the 3 questions)
- Congratulations! You have your account confirmation. Click on Click to Access Your Account.
- On the Secure Account Home Page select PERS or the other System account you want to view.
- On Your Account Information page select any activity and explore your account!
